Pipe treatment consisting of the following: • Installation of flexible decoupled barrier (external wrap is used as an external ‘wrap’ or limp barrier within structures to control noise leakage or penetration.)
• Sound absorbing insulation to fill in the framing voids (used to absorb sound). Conclusion and After-Effect:
The flushing sound of the toilet was virtually eliminated.
